Hagel recently announced attendance at two conferences this month: the Washington Community Mental Health Council Administrative Services Division (ASD) annual fall conference, October 28-30, and PASCO HR‘s 26th Annual North Bay Employment Law / Human Resources Conference to be held Thursday, October 29.

Presenting on behalf of Hagel & Company at the ASD Conference will be Kelly Jo Drllevich, who will be discussing Performance Management Systems as tools for meeting The Joint Commission accreditation standards for employee competencies.  Kelly Jo is a frequent speaker on HR and performance management topics, most recently at a Sage Abra User’s Conference which Hagel & Company sponsored in August of 2009.

The Administrative Services Division (ASD) of the Washington Community Mental Health Council has presented regular conferences since 1987.  This year’s fall conference is designed to provide information on new developments for those working finance, billing, information systems, human resources, and other areas of administrative support.  The highlights this year include guest speaker Tony Ventrella, a speaker with 28 years of television, radio and theater experience with a positive message that connects with men and women of all ages, and a demonstration of Mindstorm, a 3-D, virtual reality simulator, which was designed to provide mental health professionals, physicians, law enforcement officials and patients’ families with an experience similar to that of their mentally ill patients.

PASCO HR has been the North Bay’s leader in providing exceptional learning and networking opportunities at their annual Employment Law and Human Resources Conference, and this year seek to live up to that reputation.  Speakers at the event will feature relevant topics related to a variety of aspects of Human Resources.

We hope you will be able to meet us at one of these conferences!  The PASCO conference will be held at the at the Doubletree Hotel Sonoma Count in Rohnert Park, California, and the ASD Conference will be at the Icicle Inn in Leavenworth, Washington.

Hagel & Company is proud to announce that we will be exhibiting at the 2009 Skyline Conference and Exhibition for Timberline Users on March 12, 2009.  We will be highlighting the advantages of an integrated Sage Abra/Sage Timberline system, which enables businesses to efficiently synchronize Timberline Payroll Employee Master Files, deductions, fringes, and pay records with Abra Suite Human Resources employee master data.

The conference, presented by Skyline Business Systems, provides hands-on information to help companies gain software efficiencies in difficult economic times.  Educational sessions at the Skyline Conference will focus on advanced techniques for Sage Timberline, such as the use of change requests, amending and renewing leases, document management workflow, importing data, and creating custom reports.  The conference will also feature several sessions dedicated to the art of estimating, including general tips and tricks, useful tools, and reporting options.

We will be presenting the “Managing Employee Data with Sage Abra Human Resources” session at 10:45 am and joining several other exhibitors who feature third-party add on products than enhance Sage Timberline.  The all-day conference, held at the Bell Harbor Conference Center in Seattle, runs from 7:45am – 4:30pm PST.  Registration is available through Skyline Business Systems.
