Washington's Paid Family Leave - WA State Senator Karen Keiser
Senator Keiser discusses the current status of Washington's Family Leave Insurance Plan that is on track to deliver benefits to our families and businesses in October 2009. Senator Keiser chairs the Senate Health & Long-Term Care Committee and was the key sponsor for the program. She also serves as Vice-Chair on the Senate Labor, Commerce, Research & Development Committee, Ways and Means Committee and Rules Committee. She is a Democrat from the 33rd Legislative District, which includes SeaTac, Des Moines, Normandy Park, and parts of Burien, Kent, Tukwila and Renton.
